Since my swap I ran out of room for my coolant resivoir. So I purchaced this beautiful CSI coolant catch can to replace it. Now it's you regular 1'ish foot cylinder. It has an inlet in the top and one in the bottom and also a drain in the bottom.
So it's obvious that the top nipple gets the feed from my rad cap overflow.
It's also now becoming my coolant reservoir. I'm guessing I should plug the bottom nipple as it has no where to run to. The one problem I'm wondering since the catch can is totally sealed unit with the bottom plugged it wont have any vacuum and wont be able to pull coolant back in the rad, as stock units are not 100% sealed the cap is made to suck air so the you can have air to feed the vacuum in the system. Is there something I can do with the bottom line to create my air feed?
Also what are the NHRA rules regarding catch cans, has to be sealed or cant be sealed I can't remember?
