    Default Nolan back in the big show after 10 years...

    Well Ted Nolan will be announced tomorrow as the Islander's new head coach. Good to see the guy is back in the big show, after winning the Jack Adams, getting canned, and waiting 10 years to get another shot.

    There's always been some controversy surrounding Ted Nolan.
    He had a prior run in with Dominik Hasek and John Muckler when he was with the Sabres, and I've heard he had problems with alcoholism too.

    Doesn't help the stereotypes if he did have an alcohol problem.

    Ok now the reason why Ted Nolan never got another job is......my customer told me about this one at least 5 years ago because he knew someone in the Sabes organization.

    Ted Nolan fucked Dominik Hasek's wife, that's why. haha

    It's funny, even today when I talk to this customer, he still insists on it being true. LOL

    he deserves another shot.. calgary should have picked him up when we had our coaching drought a while back.. great coach..totally got screwed....

    Yeah good for Nolan, and the issue was that he wasn't affraid to publically insult Muckler, as well Hasek hated him. Nolan is a good coach and that is why Lafontaine pushed so hard for him to get the job in New York.
