it sounds like a good idea to determine what happens in an accident, but if canada approved this i could see the device escalating to the point of where they will know everything you do with youre car and i am not ok with tthat even though i have nothing to hide.
They have been in Canada for years. Most, if not all GM air bag equipped vehicles have them built into the air bag module. GM wants them back if they can get them from air bag deployed vehicles so they can analyze the data.
