Official Crappy Calgary Weather Thread

This thread is created for all my bi-polar peeps to vent about how the crappy weather puts you in a terrible mood and how you can't do anything when it drops below freezing.

Seriously, this stupid cold front came outta nowhere and ruined all my plans for the weekend. I was so excited about the weekend until this whole city basically turned into a desolate tundra overnight. I've only been here for a few years and just cannot get used to this crap. The cold weather is just so depressing. It just makes me want to crawl into a cave somewhere and not come out til the summer. Plus, not having a girlfiend to keep me company through this shit just makes it almost unbearably lonely. Do y'all feel what I'm sayin or do I just have issues?

It makes me crawl up under 2 feather duvets, on my new couch, with a bowl of soup.

I fell asleep with my window WIDE open the other night, woke up to sub-zero temperatures. I was to cold to move to close the window, so I used the cat as a footwarmer and pulled more blankets over me.

I love rain, I hate cold.

I need to live in BC.

What do you consider warm? 16-18 degrees high, then back down to cold and rain.

Its not depressing, this city is just moody.

This is the outlook as of 11:10. Keep in mind, this will change every 5 hours give or take.

Ok I guess I didn't make this clear enough. What I was trying to get at is that even if it warms up for a few more days in the next week, a freeze-your-ass-off winter with a ton of snow is gonna be here eventually and last until next April or May. This basically renders roughly half of my existence here to be a sentence in purgatory. What a waste.

Not necisarilly true. This is only a cold front coming in from the north (or so I understand, correct me if I'm wrong).

We had a descent winter last year, basically some warm months, then 3 months of freezing, then back to warm. It was harsh and short, the way it should be.

I wish they could tell weather into the future, I hate shovelling snow.

id take snow over vancouver weather anyday...waking up to dark clouds and pissing rain EVERYDAY for 10 months out of the year is not cool ....the snow is beautiful and makes everything bright even at nite...its amazing and i cant wait

werd. I hate grey, that's why I left the coast. I don't even want to get out of bed when it's raining and overcast, but if it's -10 and sunny it doesn't bother me.
