Me and a couple buddies are going to Prague after Christmas -- any of you guys been?

Prague was my favorite European city, its getting slightly more expensive but its still a steal compared to Germany, Austria and such. Plus amazing beer (less than a buck for a pint to boot).

I also recommend a day trip to the brewery at Pilzn (where pilsner was invented). You will not be dissapointed.

Hopefull you'll be in Prague for New Years (I want to go back for it). I'm told the fireworks from teh castle are a sight like no other.

Buy some Budweiser from Budejovice (might be called Budvar Budejovice or something of the sort there) WONDERFUL beer. Wouldn't it be 'Plezn', not 'Pilzn'?

Yeah, I its actually Plzen, I just like to spell it more the way it sounds.

Budejovice is defeintely worth a trip as well, just for the beer (don't let the name fool you, their Budweiser is uncomparably better than the Budweiser over here).

I've been to prague a few times, and i highly recommend going. i could go on and on about it, PM me if you have any specific questions. if you get a chance you should check out bratislava and slovak in general (and then vienna, why not?).

Sweeet city, went there during the summer and it's much cheaper than the rest of Europe the still use their crown. Make sure you get some Absinth! And get your caricature done on the Charles Bridge!!
