Default Computer techs... Computer keeps on erasing storage disks

Last month, my computer wiped out my 3.5" floppy disk (like saying it's not formatted, and that it was meant to be for a Mac; I'm using PC)... but there were nothing wrong with the diskette, being using it for years... then it just erased it out of the blue...

Okay, so whatever, I stopped using these stupid floppy... and started to transfer everything into USB storage sticks...

Yesterday it did the same freakin' thing, was scanning something, and then all of the sudden it says it can't read my USB storage stick (like it took a long time) and then said "this device has not been formatted, it is formatted for a Mac"

    Anyone

    Thanks.

Ive seen a LOT of corsair memory sticks do that - and of course the cheap ones do too... sounds like hardware issue.

Thanks. Yea, that's pretty much what I've been getting from other computer friends too... USB stick too cheap + hardware problem (i.e. computer doesn't know what to do with each USB outlet, and if you got too many things being used with USB, it might send surge to the USB stick if the port wasn't confederated or something)

Anyway, going to start backing up the important files with two sources now... good thing that was only the porn storage stick... 3 years of random quality pics gone.
