I've owned more cars in 7 years than my parents have since they started driving.

'86 Nissan 200sx ( blew engine, i was only 16 and didnt know enough about cars, so i scrapped it)
'91 VW Passat ( crashed and written off )
'87 Chrysler Duster ( had ALOT of fun with, ended up goin to pick-your-part)
'87 Toyota MR2 ( stolen and trashed )
'87 VW Jetta GLI ( got rear ended, written off)
'94 Olds Achieva ( borrowed temporarily from parents after jetta was smashed)
'90 Toyota MR2 Turbo ( current Summer/project car)
'92 VW Jetta ( current daily driver/winter car)

I Also drove a handful of my parents cars in high school that were technically "my car"...but i never bought them, and they were all lame so no need to add to the list.

Other than "selling" to scrap yards, i have never actually sold a car....something wrong with that.

For the most part, I've only owned one at a time.

1) 91 civic - good car, reliable as fuck but burn a litre of oil in 500km.
2)90 240 - lol this thing was a pile, good project, didnt finish because some guy offered me 2000 for it LOL, bought it for 500 and sold for 1500.
3)91 240 coupe
4)86 accord... bought off my brother and sold it

94 civic si - bought new and still own
92 infinity G20 - owned for about 3 years and sold it
97 pontiac transport - my family wagon, still own after about 3 years
2000 pontiac montana - bought for trip to van and sold when we got back and made money off it
92 talon TSI - bought for like 2 months and sold, didn't like it

Will drive both current vehicles to thier graves until we buy new (new-used) vehicle

'88 New Yorker - Loved this car mainly for the digital dash and pleasant voice that brought low fuel tanks and ajar doors to my attention. Owned for 3 months before being totalled by a drunk driver.

'92 Escort - Owned this guy for 5 and a half years. I started being interested in cars while owning this car and so learned most of my general automotive knowledge from it. One day it had an electrical problem and, while I was fine with it, my mom said "That car is crap, let's buy you a new one". Not one to deny my parents generousity, we went car shopping.

'02 Protege 5 - I managed to find this fucking gem hidden away at Kramer Mazda. Was fun to drive when it wasn't misfiring in 3 godamn cylinders. Mazda fixed the problem but I'd attached negativity to the car and couldn't drive it without worrying. I decided it was about time I actually went into debt and got a near new car that I could love for a long time.

'05 SRT-4 - So far so good. Shame I bought it just as winter was approaching but it's allowed me to get used to the car without going balls-out and wrapping it around a pole. I've got big plans and nothing but a smile on my face when I look at it. Booyah!
