Default Is there a place that sells bulk aquarium gravel?

I need a bunch for 2 big tanks and I dont really feel like spending Petland prices at 15 - 20 bux a bag, cause I'll need about 8 of them. Any place sell bulk? Or whats the cheapest place? Thanks, in advance.

Have you ever thought of using cleaned sand? It looks awesome in a tank and when you have your power heads running, the sand begins to take shape like an ocean floor.
Other than that, try burnco rock products, They sell pea gravel that also looks great!

    Good luck!

I wouldn't say that it is easier than regular aquarium gravel, but the large chunks of food and %$#& stay ( it seems to pool in the same place every time) where you can vacuum them up without having to dig through the rocks. In addition, sand works best in a salt water tank as you do not change the water, or clean the rocks as often. I can send pictures of my tank setup with sand if anyone is interested.
Oh, I bought my sand at RONA (regular sandbox sand) and washed it thoroughly before I used it.
    Hope this helps!

+1 for sand....it just plain looks better too....

FWIW, a friend of mine had a 180gal tank with eels, oscars, etc. in it and he just grabbed gravel from the playgrounds and washed it good....
