Browser Options Needed

Im trying to do some online modules for work and for some reason it keeps crashing when i use Internet Explorer on my pc (crash as in error message triggered and all internet explorer windows close)

I dont have service pack 2 so i cant get the new internet explorer, internet explorer mac and safari on my mac are both non-compatible with the website as is Opera for the pc, going to try Opera for the mac right now.

Can anyone think of any other ways i can make this work?

sorry i forgot to mention firefox as well, tried it on both the PC and the mac, whenever i try and go to the site rather then loading the page it attemps to download some htm file and when i choose the run option it gives an error message (pc and mac)

And Opera for mac is also a no-go
