What is the best route to go with speakers?

I have a 92 civic with 2 speakers. One on either door. The right one sounds like crap and has no bass, while the left one is totally shot.

I was thinking of going to a wreckers and seeing if I could get a pair of stock speakers. If I do that what should I be paying for them, and will any door panel speaker work as long as it fits?

Also what are my other options? I don't have much $.

go to XS cargo and pick their 200 watt 3-way speakers for like 14 bucks a pair....obviously they dont perform to wahat their rated but their way better than what you have
