Default b16 in an EF...1/4 mile times?

I was just wondering what a usual 1/4 mile time is for a 4th gen civic/2nd gen crx is with a stock b16a1? Is it worth the $3000+ to get it?

I read somwhere that just dropping a b16 in an EF inluding basic mods i/h/e, should be running hi 14's in the 1/4 mile.

Not sure though......just off the top of my head!

low 15's is not a type-r beater. In fact that is right on par or slower than an ITR.

Mid 15's is a little more realistic. You may get into the low 15's but probably not anywhere in the 14's

Ya, I forgot to account for our altitude!!!?? So I guess that 15's would be realistic here in the C-Spot........

What you should run and what you actually run are two competely differents things..... and i have first hand experience with this..... and yes a b16 should give you low 15's.... should.

Did i mention i cant drive
