true, ever since a couple years ago when that 13yr old fell off an unfinshed building at his uncles construction site in edmonton
He was trying to make some money over the summer like most of us, my sister used to be really good friends with him.. sad story
Any other suggestions besides paper/flyer routes? He is only 14, so take that into consideration when making suggestions.
for any legit job in alberta, hey babysitters make good cash, is he a responsible kid? if not then i suppose he can always do the paper route or mow lawns/ shovel snowOriginally posted by no_joke

sorry, the paper/flyer route is the only one that comes into my mind. from personal experience, take the paper route, much less stressful than doing flyers, and no one will see you that earier in the mourning.
When the stampede comes to set up tell him to go down, he can get a job setting up or with one of the vendors, as they do not hire people until they are there.
You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
i worked their for 2 summers 4-5 years ago as a gate attendant. Not a bad job when your that young.
"She takes premium dude! PREMIUM!!! DUDE!!!!"
Oh boy, SCAM-pede.
I used to sell ride-coupons there.
The only good thing is that you get an ID tag that gets you free admission into the Stampede anytime.
Ended up wasting most of the money I made there and having $80 stolen from me by my supervisor.
The most GHETTO place I have ever worked at, oh the horrors......
