how to remove bsd wristbands

i kno it's only two days away but jus in case you may want to do this next year or something but here's a quick way of removing your wristband in case you don't like how annoyin it can get while writing or if you accidently asked them to put it on your writing hand.

well i don't have a camera that's workin at the moment but if you look carefully inside the male and female connector, you can see four clips that is holding the male connector inside the female connector. If you push all four clips in, you can forcefully pull apart the two connectors.

But make sure you push the connectors in first before you forcefully try to break apart the connectors because it'll snap the clips and then you can't reattach the band anymore.

Just use a pushpin or safety pin to push in the clips. Be sure to place some material between the band and your wrist as a precaution in case you slip and push the pushpin/safety pin too far into the connector since there is holes in the connector as well.



too bad you couldn't give the main wristbands away to guests who aren't from u of c by asking a person from u of c who isn't goin to bsd but is willin to give theirs away. i don't get the point of checkin the student ID and the age ID twice. I htink they should jus check the student ID when you get the wristbands but check the age ID at the gardens :P

theres another way
if they cut the wristband longer and theres another hole
just cut to connect the two holes and side it over to make the wrist size larger and slide it off

They don't check your student ID twice, just your age ID at the entrance.

CONFIRMED: Talked to my buddy who is a SA. They will NOT be checking student ID's.

All I did was take sissors and cut the plastic connector on the inside parallel to the band and then just applied a dab of Krazy glue to reattach and viola.
