I'd sign millions of any petitions, but will this ever end? You can't stop them from doing it. It's very sad to see especially when school kids are walking by.

there are more humane ways to kill the dolphins if they 'must' do so instead of chopping their heads and having the brain start falling out like in one of those shots..

Agreed it could be more humane, but animals exist for humans to feed off. If you don't agree with that, then don't eat them. Don't eat plants either...cus they feel pain too (what more, some plants are pretty cute). Lets see how long you survive.

I don't think that most people are upset about the fact that they are being killed for food, rather the manner in which they are being slaughtered.

As for plants feeling pain, my limited understanding of biology is that a brain is required in order to process pain. To my knowledge, plants don't have brains.

I agree with you. the way they were killed was just atrocious. Honestly though, I really don't think a petition will stop fishermen from doing what they've been doing for years. Especially in a country like Japan where the government has SO many tasks to deal with given the mass overpopulation.
