Too much red in the interior (I hate red in interiors) but looks great.

So I take it since the camshaft is in the block and actuates on all the valves, that the intake and exhaust is variable only in the same ratio? Meaning they cannot be varied independently of each other? My brain hurts

* Horsepower and torque are SAE certified. A new voluntary power and torque certification procedure developed by the SAE Engine Test Code committee was approved March 31, 2005 . This procedure (J2723) ensures fair, accurate ratings for horsepower and torque by allowing manufacturers to certify their engines through third-party witness testing. GM was the first auto manufacturer to begin using the procedure and expects to use it for all newly rated engines in the future.

How much will it go for?
“Straight roads are for fast cars, turns are for fast drivers.”
Not necessarily, the camshaft can be two in one. The outer cam could control the intake valves and be hollow, while a cam running inside the intake cam can run the exhaust valves. This way they can be independently adjusted.Originally posted by Millsie

The new Viper is running this system, and I don't see why GM couldn't either. However, GM has not announced how it is doing this.

Of course, a perfectly good explanation is boring, so the answer is, it's fucking voodoo.
I hope they upped the interior quality/fit & finish a whole ton, I will have to go look at one for myself when they come out. The C6's are fun to drive but I look around me and feel like I'm in a $20,000 car. The new one looks better but we'll see.
