read my mind buddy.. Im looking for some easy summer courses to take. im a 4th year eng. lookin to round out the GPA..
well i took econ 341 and coms 363. both easy but require work. i need about 3 more
goph 375, you'll have to put in a little bit of time reading the notes (if you attend class this time is greatly reduced) but should be able to pull an A with little effort. I think total time spent on this class last semester was maybe 8 hours and i got the A
oh yea forgot to mention i already took goph375 as well. Great Class
i was thinking coms 361, poli 369 with ismael or arky 325
POLI369 with Ismael is good if you don't want to write any papers
what is it about?Originally posted by ashee

What all of his classes are about, middle east politics and lots of anti-Bush sentiments.
The way Ismael teaches is by assigning articles you have to read within say 3 weeks and then he gives you 20 question multiple choice test at the end of the reading period. No papers and my final this year was 10 questions which he used to replace my lowest test mark from a previous test.
It's an easy A class and still passable if you just skim the readings.
They changed a bunch of classes available in winter, Ismael's 369 is cut now, plus a couple I was taking, how irritating.

had to redo my schedule last minute
Has anyone taken or heard of CNST361 Gender, Race and Ethnicity in Canada with Michele Neider?
I just finished CNST 355 - Canadian Cities and Canadian Identity with Stephanie White.
Wasn't too bad of a class and was pretty easy.
Good option if she's teaching it.
has any body taken film studies?
301 or 201?
I heard you just watch movies.
Alot of the 300level PSYC classes are very interesting and pretty easy IMO. Try Social Psycology, i think that is PSYC355? I could be wrong about the course number tho,
That Sopranos film class is supposed to be pretty sweet, don't know what they're gonna call it now since Sopranos is done.
My understanding of the class is it's basically watching movies and shows related to that genre and writing reports about them. Heard the guy that teaches it can be a hard marker though.
sry to hijack.
got a question about coms361/363.
which one tends to be easier?
also, if i take both i'll satisfy one of the requirements, which is taking one of the two.
my question is, if i take the other one also, will that course account towards one of my sr. ss/sci/hum/ options?
take soci 325 which is crime and deviance..
soci 321 which is mental illness..
if they still offer it take apsy 427 and/or apsy 327.. the 427 is stress and burn out.. and 327 is career management.. both easy imo..
i am wondering also what other options are easy.. can be 200's or 300's.. i want to minimize my workload for this semester so hopefully someone can help me out..
thanks
soci 325 with who is good?
