    air bags don't do jack if a rail impales the car...

    i read in the paper some 14 year old punk in bc stole a civic with his 17 year old friend and crashed it; splitting the car in two! think of the speed it must have been going to split...the 17 year old died, the 14 year old is hospitalized. both have criminal records for stealing cars

    how is that even possible? the rail shouldnt have severed like that and impaled the car...

    but if the rail did hit the Driver right in the chest... why would the rail still be there if the driver is already taken out of the car and to a hospital.

    Looks like the rail went through the steering column, between the seats, and through the back hatch on the right side.

    The driver might have escaped with his life. If he got impaled in the chest, there's be more blood on the seat.

    yea i think the driver survived cuz there would be MASS more blood on the rail and the seat, not just that lil bloob.
