Default Is this a good deal?

My parents are looking to buy an MDX and my dad found this one for sale at his workplace :

2004 ACURA MDX 83000 KMS with Technology package (Navigation, Back-up camera, 6 Disc CD changer with Bose Audio system), brand new 20” chrome rims and tires + original rims and tires and some accessories,

Highlights: Heated leather Seats, Memory Seats, NAVIGATION, Back-up Camera, 6 CD changer, Bose Audio system, Powered Sunroof/Moonroof, 7 Passenger, Brand new 20” Chrome rims and tires ($3500 value), Best exterior/interior colour combination, Cruise control, Power Seats, Doors, Mirrors, Windows, Steering and more. $35,800.00. obo. Calgary.

Given the relatively high mileage, does this seem like a good price??

Its not a BAD price, all the beyond wholesalers will tell you you can get it for less, which you can , in ontario or something. But if you want a local private deal then its not bad. Its very hard to sell used cars privately in Calgary nowadays, so you could probably get it for 30-32K

Tell him to keep his rims and give you the stockies and take $3500 off the price of the car. I don't think your parents care about "Dem 20's" dog.

Good idea, those aren't even nice anyways and that would make it a good price.

BTW OP - you forgot to put the "ee" at the end of your username.

+1 for rims not being the nicest and excluding them out of the price

The km's aren't that far out of whack. We put 25,000 a year on our family vehicle. If he bought that in late 2003, it's about right.

The price seems O K A Y but not amazing.
