    Default Taber Corn

Just bought Taber corn at the Canadian Tire location in the parking lot.

Some of the ears are small, but it looks pretty good for Taber corn. The certificate of authenticity was there for everyone to see. 1 dozen $7.00 add 3 peaches for $10.00

yeah...I just emailed my friends back in Ontario..

They are paying 1.99 per dozen for fresh corn. If taber is the corn capital of the west...why do we pay so much for it!

If you eat the corn and do not crush the kernels... yes. Your stomach can not break down the skin of the kernels.

They may be paying that much for fresh corn, but it's very likely not taber corn.

Ask them if they're actually from Taber, then ask to see thier drivers license when they say yes.

There are so may rip offs of Taber corn. I would suggest just getting together with all your buddies, going in on a bag, and heading down to taber to get the real deal.

Is real taber corn really that much better than other corn? How does it stack up against other "good corn" places around the world?

haha! Since we live in Alberta, it does the job.

If you have had SW Ontario corn, you will think Taber corn is a joke. SW ON corn is the best I have had around the world, although there is some good stuff in Mexico, but it's all grown by the Mexican Mennonites.

yeah it makes me laugh how they talk about the new peaches and cream corn the last few years. We ate it in ON as far as I can remember and I am 38.

I get my relatives to bring it out on the plane when they come...Same with tomatoes. You haven't lived until you have had a Leamington ON tomatoe.
