I think it was a break in of a hotel room.
Not exactly "casino theft".
OCEANS OJ!
Yeah, when the story first posted on CNN it just said "Casino"....seems much more lame now that they've updated their story!
If the room key don't fit, you must acquit!

Update:
After denying any wrongdoing all weekend, OJ's actually been arrested now and faces several charges including armed robbery with a deadly weapon (each charge could get him 3-35yrs).
Lets hope he kept his lawyer's phone number
Its probably going to be a black/white thing just like his first major trial but this is bullshit imo.
From what I understand, some of his personal collectibles were taken from him years ago. He finds out about some of his stuff being sold in Vegas while he's at this hotel, and posses as an interested collector to get it back. Except instead of buying it back he shows up with an entourage of armed guys. The only mistake he made was using force to get the stuff back ... it should rightfully be his in the first place.
word has it he's broke as hell and gave that shit away yrs ago, and now wants it back to sell it..
....

I thought everyone brought an entourage of armed men with them to go reclaim stolen goods?
What an idiot.
He may be an idiot, but he was set up. Slightly convienient that the same guy who tipped him off about his stuff being for sale at the hotel, was the same guy who happened to be in the room secretly recording the conversation going on when OJ and co busted in.
LAS VEGAS - O.J. Simpson was charged Tuesday with seven felonies, including kidnapping, in the alleged armed robbery of sports memorabilia collectors in a casino-hotel room.
The fallen football star was arrested Sunday after a collector reported a group of armed men charged into his hotel room at a casino and took several items Simpson claimed belonged to him.
Simpson was booked on suspicion of assault and robbery with a deadly weapon. Clark County District Attorney David Roger filed those charges and added kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping, according to court documents.
Simpson, who was accused along with three other men, was also charged with one misdemeanor. He faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted.
He was being held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in the robbery reported at the Palace Station casino.

They look pretty serious about going after him on this.
If the memorabilia belongs to "The Juice", you must let him loose.
The ghost of Rappin' Jonnie Cochran
If the fat white guy did not pay. Free OJ!
