i got a acura RL and the transmission still shifts smoothly but it could shift smoother. would a transmission flush help with this? and what would be a good place to have one done?

How many km on it?
Might just need a flush & new filter or it may need some actual work if its harsher then it should be
not sure if you have the same tranmission as i do in the legend, but a flush is not recommanded iirc.. you might want to look it up.
Team_mclaren, mind if I ask why and if u got a link? I know for BMW they say its lifelong fluid and don't change it either but they still change it.
i dont knwo, because its not a bmw?

doesnt exactly say why, thats why i told him to look it up. I just dont want the OP to fuck up his transmission because someone on beyond tells him its ok
also, all the legend/RL guys follow this "flushing" DIY procedure:

it's got about 175000km on it but still shifts very smoothly compared to my friends accord with 50000km. thanks for the links Team_Mclaren. i'll do the drain and change transmission fluid and at 200000km i'll do the timing belt and transmission filter.
Holly crap that's quite the process there. Good to know.
Is it an auto? If it is, I'd change it every 30K. If it's a manual you can push them to 60 to 80K. Manuals are alot more bulletproof.
