Whos got the fastest top speed on this site? Not what your car CAN do, but what you have done on the street or track.

My car only went 175km before the gov seemed to kick in. Or maybe my engine didnt have anymore power

my speedo only reads up to 180km/h. i think i've hit around 200. scarry going at those speeds.

I've hit 190 before - on Deerfoot... had a bit more room too... don't want to see how much more room though... that was fast enough for me.

I've gone 215-220 w/ a downhill grade. I've gone 200 on the flat(highway 22X).

I think it was pretty stupid now though, if anything had jumped out of the ditch or whatever, it would have been all over.

I just did 210 in the Stealth TT the other week in 4th gear(of 6 gears).

oh, and I hit a bird once @ 180. now i have a crack in my window. at least I killed the bird though(feathers all over the place, like i hit a big bug)

I took my car out Friday night on 22X, and got it to 190(I decided that 190 is faster than I should ever need to go, so I slowed down) Which is wierd cuz I have a book that says mines governed at 180. Maybe my spedometers f**k.

I have gone 195, thats the fastest i have pushed it so far, one day i will see the real power of my car

went 190 driving back from camping, still felt stable and like the car could do more, but scared shitless to drive faster

Personal best : 293km/h. I believe Rob's gone quite a bit faster than that (well over the 300 mark).

I hit 255km/h with my dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo. In sixth gear, she was revving just over 4500rpm.

yea, I'm pretty sure Stealths are computer limited to 155mph.

I've also gone 160km/h(GPS) on a 600cc snowmobile. It was geared for acceleration not top speed. now I have an 800cc.

I was hitting 170 by the end of the straightaway at race city. In my younger, stupider days I had the car faster than that on 37th st.
