my buddy says those unmarked suburbans are part of the anti gang unit, but i can't say for certain. have heard him mention it multiple times tho as he is in constant contact with them with his job.

You mean Unmarked Excursions and these constables are generally with K-9 or tactical (swat) style departments. This could have been a pursuit with a suicidal person, or as you mentioned even gang related. It would be good to hear what really went down.

I don't commit crimes so I don't know their position but I kind of understand not giving up. It would be tough to know you're going to jail for a long time and maybe those extra 30 minutes of freedom would be worth it?? I don't know.
