As for the flights...a good deal would be around $450 (YYC to EWR/LGA) Although, Im sure the OP has a good reason why hes driving to NY.

Thats a hell of a trip for the K20...how much is it worth all-in? I would still drive to Montana Airport, get a shipper to meet me there, fly to NY and wait a few days till it gets there...or vice-versa to cut out one-way of the trip.

Just did that drive but I stopped in Eastern Sask. Very, very boring. I hit a few tumbleweeds and that was the most exciting part

Put the car on cruise control and let 'er rip. I only saw one radar trap (and my detector picked it up before I saw him) over the entire 1000kms I drove. There are literally no cops on the highways.
