SAIT Parking

What's a good place to park at SAIT besides the pay parking? I parked at northhill mall since beginning of sept but on Monday I got a parking ticket when i parked infront of the shoppers drug mart. Right now i just need some other places where i can park and have no idea. Does anyone know if the dalhousie safeway has security guards patroling around the parking lot at 8 in the morning?

that's kinda far. i live in hawkwood. anyone know if there are security guards at the safeway dalhousie?

i don't think they give parking tickets at the ctrain stations.... take transit

ya i was wondering if there were security guards at the dalhousie safeway, so i can park there then take the lrt.

North Hill mall is actually pretty decent, just don't park in front of Shoppers Drug Mart as its 30min only.
Park east of the bridge, thats where I parked the whole last semester and never had problem.

Can't park anymore with my current car as it draws too much attention (3 tickets aug/sept), 2 paid 1 won.
Might start again though since I'm member of WHC

i didn't park like infront of shoppers. i parked right behind the bridge.

haha i use to park at northhill by shoppers behind the bridge ramp .. haha but they started catchin on .. so i park behind the gas station which is across the bridge .. right by the houses alot of people parks there its always full in the morning haha but no problem finding one though ! you can give it a try if you dont mind the 3-5 min walk

yeah that part is still considered shoppers for some reason.

i think they are giving tickets out to alot of people now..every morning when im crossing the bridge i see at least 3-5 parking controls standing around from safeway all the way to chili's ..

I usually get to northhill mall around 7:45am and now they have security guards standing in the middle of the parking lot. This just started to happen like 2-3 weeks ago. Does anyone know when the dalhousie parking lot get full? Do you think i'll find a parking spot like at 7:30am?

If you can muster the effort, park at the 10th street entrance to confederation park, walk 12 mins right in the front doors.

not a chance in the lot at 7:30, your best bet is probably behing that sound wall in dlahousie itself, then walk over to the pedestrian bridge then to the station, it is a short little walk but it isnt too bad, or you could also try in varsity.

has anyone tried that street mall in varsity the one near the dalhousie station. Its beside the church on crowchild. The street mall has a Macs

i parked at those places for full 2 years. no ticket watsoever.

if you park in 2 hour free parking. make sure to get there before 12:30. Parking patrol comes at 11am and they chalk rear tires. Rub it off and move you car little further or back.

no, although i recomend to check your rear tire for first couple days you park there.

In 2 years, never saw any patrol after 1pm.
