    Bestbuy Canada won't honor its US prices will it? Black friday is coming up, and some of these deals are crazy. Is there any way for us canucks to get these prices?

    Just saw an ad for Soundsaround Friday sale. Some real cheap deals to be found (Sony 60'' for under $2000, iirc)

    Most of the stuff they mark down is to get room for new stock...

    People who don't know electronics as well are like "WOW HD tv for $600 off?!?! Gotta get this ASAP..."

    But usually it's only 720P resolution (old stuff they want to clear out anyways), instead of 1080P.

    Some of those Black Friday clips being run on the new are ridiculous. People pushing and shoving, even fighting for the thing they want to buy.

    Most of the stuff you care about won't ship to Canada.

    The only hope I think is you see something on buy.com and hope to find it on ca.buy.com for the same (currency adjusted) price.

    I miss Black Fridays. I always used to time my business trips such that I could catch a Turkey day party or two, along with a massive shopping expedition. Only problem is: Americans treat Black Friday like war. They'll engage in a fight to grab anything!

    I just went to one of the Seattle area best buys, forgetting it was closed on thanksgiving. I got there at about 8pm. There are already tents set up and a long line for when it opens tomorrow. There were some awesome TV deals, but man, that is enough to scare even me away!
