I need to extract a BIOS ROM file from an .EXE file. Long story short a bios update went bad but the on-board recovery feature still works. We've tried every other "similar" bios ROM but they just aren't cutting it. The computer in question is an HP, and to flash the BIOS you have to use their entire utility which does extract the .ROM file in any easily findable location (if it is extracted at all).
In the past I have used resource hacker to pull images and change menus in executables but I am looking for a program that will let me pull the .ROM file out of the .EXE if it is at all possible. Here's the download link for the bios utility:
