does any body know what hourly wage they start at?
i called and put in app but they still would not tell wage starting?

I believe starting wage is 10$/hour+2$/hour night premium+1$/hour sunday premium. Top wage is 16sumthing/hour+premiums.
Safeway's in a bargaining dispute right now and could go on strike anytime.

Superstore is also unionized, and actually wages are less flexible because of the union. No one should be getting hired FT off the street, the company has to go right down the employee chain offering their FT openings (as per union agreements).Originally posted by Xtrema

Everyone is hired PT off the bat, and the usual going rate for that is $13.40 ($9.40 base, plus $4/hr night premium; higher at Deerfoot Meadows) - this is for Superstore btw.
