Instead of watching people enjoy themselves playing sports on TV he's going to watch them enjoy themselves playing sports IN PERSON!!!Originally posted by szw

I'm in Shanghai at the time, but I have no real interest to check out the olympics. I was wondering if someone could convince me otherwise.
I'm gonna be going to the Gold medal Tennis match, Womens Syncronized Diving Finals, and a few Track and Field events.Originally posted by szw

Tickets to all events are already sold out, but you can still buy them via websites but they'll cost significantly more than retail.
I'll also go to the great wall while I'm there.
wow so how much did the tickets cost in total?
Seemed like every other person was getting a Chinese Visa when I was taking passport pictures.
Man that'd be dope to go to. LUCKY BASTARD
I scored some tickets for some events through a friend who's decided to ditch out but he already got the tickets online for some events.
Does anyone know any cheap airfare deals?? I used expedia and I'm looking at $1600 for flights in August...
You drive a manual, you only steer an automatic!
Considering you're going when everyone else in the world wants to go, you're probably SOL. Prices aren't getting any lower for the Olympics, or their busy tourist season.

Hey, PureDeXteritY, I have a an item that I want to send to a friend of mine living in Beijing. It keeps getting rejected through the mail. It's a 3' x 6' Tibetan flag. I'm willing to pay you, or anyone else, $300 Cdn. to deliver it to my friend.
Thanks!
Why send something made in China all the way back there? It shouldn't be hard to find a flag in China.
