Calgary Realtor - Edmonton Listing?

Can a CREB licenced realtor list a property on the Edmonton MLS?

Do realtors within Alberta and registered to AREA have access to all listings throught Alberta on the MLS?

Can any realtor post a property to any Alberta town/city MLS?

Yes, a Calgary Realtor can list on the Edmonton MLS. We are licensed provincially, so our license would work all over the province. I have seen quite a few Calgary/Edmonton Realtor's list in the opposite city.

I think there has to be a reciprocity agreement in place when it comes to listing on another city's MLS system though. I haven't done that yet, so I am not quite sure how its done.

I would assume so as Realtor's are licensed provincially. However, in Alberta we are governed by RECA which is for Alberta only. Each province has its own regulating body when it comes to real estate.
