pull it off. seperate the fabric and foam from the pressed wood. If the wood is still good give it a quick sand with some 80-120 grit to get rid of the old glue. Buy some 1/4 thick hard foam and cut it to fit the pressed wood (dont forget to cut out the dome light) use contact cememt and apply to the headliner. Now you use more contact cement on the fabric (new stuff if you can) and the headliner, make sure you have the fabric somewhat streched and pull it up nice and tight around the corners. then trim and put back in to place. New heradliner

i have done this only once though, but it looked really good.. pm me if ya need some help

I had taken your advise, jumped in the garage, and your info was much help because it WAS working very well until a slight mishap with a razor blade and alot of "F" words. So its back to the store for another headliner a most likely a trip to the intertior shop.

    thanks for your help
