I'm selling a really nice set of golf clubs. I had planned to keep these, but I had back surgery last year and just don't want to risk another injury playing golf....so these are up for sale.

The set is RIGHT hand and the clubs are in NEAR MINT condition.

Here are the details:

IRONS: Ping Eye 2 BeCu Berrylium Copper. 3-SW. Blue dot. Ping Microtaper shafts and brand new Ping grips. For those of you "in the know"...the Ping Eye 2's are probably the best cavity back irons made.....ever!. These are the rare version that were only made for a few years. The heads are made from Berrylium Copper instead of steel. They feel nice, sound great and look amazing. All the serial #'s match on the 3-PW and the SW is a different serial #. The irons are in near mint condition with very little wear. The heads are original and haven't been refinished by Ping (although they look like it!)

WOODS: Ping Zing "Blonde" woods. 3,5,6. Ping KTM Shafts and brand new ping grips. These woods are in excellent shape with almost no varnish wear on the sole. These woods are original and have not been refinished by Ping.

DRIVER: Taylor Made R5 TP "Tour Preferred". This is the "Tour" model R5 driver with the adjustable head weights. Shaft is a reg flex and the driver is brand new, never been hit. Comes with the wrench and weight kit

PUTTER: Ben Hogan Bettinardi putter. Mint shape. Missing the head cover

BAG: Brand new and never used Ping Hoofer II bag. The bag is red, white and blue

I'm asking $900 OBO or make a reasonable offer.

You can either buy a brand new set of blingy irons and look like every other poser on the course......or buy this set and all the golf bunnies will be flocking to you because they will assume you drive a Jaguar E Type, smoke pipes and have a home office full of leather bound books and mahogany furniture.

Ping still makes the Eye 2 irons via special order. I believe the price for a brand new set is over $1,500 for the 3-PW

The set I have are from 1988 give or take a year.

I'll have to check on the weekend on the putter. Off the top of my head, I think it's a BHB2. It's a blade style with the gold finish and the circular machining on the face.

I think I want to try and sell the whole package instead of parting out the irons. The irons are where the majority of the value is in this particular set and I don't want the hassle of trying to sell the other pieces.
