Yes it can, cuz those BMW's going in for service! Can't even drive 'em! Lemme see. 5 series needs a new diff, M3's need a new motor, and 7 series cuz the owners dunno how to start the car with iDrive!

    Sounds about right!

But if they are going for service then how is that driving pleasure?

But I get where you were going.

Haha, yeah, there's another version that says reliability or something on it, it's funny.

Speaking of Mercedes reliability, my G500 has been in the shop two or three times in the month I have owned it. The time my M3 was ever in the shop was for oil changes.

    So far, advantage BMW.

Looks like it is going back into the shop, too. The brake light keeps going out on me.

I might have to cancel the R171 and go with the M3 SMG2.

2: new ball joints and tie rods
    3: new rear shock mounts

I like both Mercedes cars and BMW cars... so I'm a fence sitter when it comes to this picture... best of both worlds!

I'm not a big fan, they are way too big, especially in width.

The only other SUVs I seriously considered vs. the G500 were the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and the Range Rover.

I still have mixed feelings about the decision.. the Range Rover is definitely a better vehicle from a performance/luxury perspective, but the G500 is much more unique and just has panache.

Again, it turns into a Mercedes vs. BMW debate. I really like BMWs engines and transmissions a whole lot better. The torque curve on the 4.4L V8 in the Range Rover is unbeatable, and it is surprising how weak the 5.0L V8 is in the G500. It isn't that big of a deal though, cause it isn't like I am going to take the G500 to the track or anything. It has more than enough power for everyday use.
