what kind of springs? how did you manage to get that low?
I have the Tein street coilovers. and KYB GR2 struts.
the stats for those springs is 1.5 I beleive.
Wow, I thought you would have to be at least 2.x inches to have harness rubbing issues..
dv/dt
according to the spring stats on Tein's website. its only 1.5 "
but its all fixed. and the new motor is going in this week
Fuck getting the fenders off is a bitch boys. ive got one off. one of my fenders is completely mangled making it almost impossible to get to some of the bolts.
any tips?
ratchet wrenches and 1/4 inch ratchets with a 10mm socket.
thats what I did. took a little time but it worked out.
haha well thats what ive been using.... but my fender is bent to shit from an incident last summer so i cant get to 2 or 3 of the bolts.
im thinking of just taking a grinder to my fender and cutting out access holes to get to the bolts. but im not sure.
Any suggestions guys? Before I go tear it off my own way.
I've also got a problem with my hood. I was installing my carbon good I got the other day and all went well untill I went to play around with the hinges to adjust the panel gap. On my driver side hinge I only had one bolt holding the hinge to the frame of the car....when I went to loosen the second one so I could mess around with it the head of that bolt snapped off too. Now I've heard of a tool called an easy out but I'd also like to hear some input on this aswell. What do you recommend?
Tks in advance
you could try an easy out. I havent had to much expirence with them. I would drill it and re-thread it. but thats me. I have the tools to do it
i aswell have the tools to do that but im iffy on it. what are the chances of the nut thats welded to the frame breaking off when i try to do this?
not likley they are pretty stong.
alright, well ill have at-er tommorow morning. let you know if i got any problems.
tks
