Verizon Blackberry 8830 on Fido??

I am getting a Blackberry 8830 World Edition from Verizon. Just wondering if there is any way I can use it with Fido/Rogers.

The phone specs indicate:
Dual–band 800/1900 Mhz 1xEV–DO networks
Dual–band 900/1800 Mhz GSM/GPRS (outside North America)

Is there flashing or any sort of unlocking for me to use it in Canada? Guessing can't use it on Telus or Bell either?

Won't work. I don't believe there will be a slot of the sim card as it's CDMA. You should be able to get it unlocked to work on Bell or Telus though
