Holds more if you freeze it.

By the way, if you want to fill a bottle, can you choose how many lbs to put in, or do you have to fill the whole thing?

Till it gets warm and the safety valve starts purging it anyways because the internal pressure gets too high.

every time I took my bottle to Guyeon, they froze it and filled it...they told me it could hold more cold...if you want your psi up to like 1100-1200 you need to freeze it...as far as I know, the safety purge is well beyond 1200 psi.

Doesn't hold more the bottle is rated for 10 pounds. Freezing it is how guys with weak pumps or no pumps fill. Over filling it is a good way to have a bad accident. Yes you could put 12 lbs in it but then you risk blowing out your burst valve and now you are done for the weekend till you get another. We use a electronic scale that measures to the .25 once so what ever you want. We also weigh it coming in so we know if you have any left.

I could put 15 in your bottle with a pump will I tho NO.

If your safety startes purging you have a big problem.

The reason to freeze it is because they do not have a proper pump set up. A good pump will fill a bottle in 2 mins no waiting around. Most burst valves blow off from 1400-1600. The pressure to run at is 950 at least that is what NX recommends. That is why the bottle heater is good maintains pressure and shuts off when the pressure is exceeded. Keeps consistancy. Excessive pressure is one of the most understood myths in the industry. Most guys think they run faster with more pressure and guess what they do. However the reason for this is that they are actually leaning the car out from the Nitrous manufactures origionally intended jetting this includes wets systems and especially dry. This is dangerous as it will push your afr into another range. (making more power yes but more dangerous). Thus once again giving nitrous a bad rap.

By the way we are 6 a pound. You can watch our scale also no games here.

We are the Nitrous Express reps for this area.
