It won't be an issue since this distributor is the same obd as the car and it doesn't require swapping coil packs.

That is why your 01 had that issue, I am doing this on a 97 with a 97 ITR engine

His was related to the conversion harness, not specifically the distributor sensor packs. There is some sort of wiring difference between Frog engine control's test rig and our canadian integras apparently.

Here are a few pics of the ITR swap that went down this weekend.

No codes, started up right away with no leaks and everything works great

Another project I worked on this past weekend.

Most of you should be able to recognize this car as Hollie

Tested the car a few weeks ago and it would not go into gear. Everytime you tried to engage the clutch all that could be heard is grinding.

We thought it might be something inside the transmission and F20B ones aren't cheap or easy to find...

So we removed the transmission to have a look

Nice and clean aside from a lot of black dust

Once we got the clutch off it became clear what had broke

Here is me dirty, unshaved and in weekend mode

Flywheel is in decent shape but has some pretty good grooves

The pressure plate was well used. Someone had been beating on it just a bit

Should have part 2 in a few weeks once the new parts are here and we can reinstall everything!

I don't know what you are talking about....

Also just to let you know...it's not actually an F20 trans...it's from an H22....

That clutch disc looks ok from afar... those pieces are from the pressure plate as you may have already deduced. That was an Exedy stage 2 disc by the looks of it?

Yes, the friction surface of the clutch is more than ok...But, the springs on the clutch disc as well as the pressure plate are all "fubared"....

    And yes stage 2...

So Scott, it looks like I will not be needing that transmission you generously offered to me...But I greatly appreciate that offer regardless.

No problem bro.. and hey, if you don't use that clutch disc let me know, I've got the same one and could always use a spare/emergency clutch

I cannot in good conscience give away this clutch disc...haha...One of the springs on the hub is about to pop out and the others are significantly worn away...

If you think you can somehow make use of it...then by all means you are welcome to it though...haha...

Scott those pieces I'm holding are from the clutch disc. They go around the springs to retain them in place.

    That disc is done man

Hmmm looked like bits of the pressure plate to me, not the clutch disc. Tecnically you could just remove the clutch springs and be good to go haha.. unsprung clutch FTW
