Not too much out there by way of photo ID that has an address on it. Only the operator's license and the class 8 ID card require it...
apart from that there are things like:
Parolee Card, Military ID, PAL/POL firearms card, passport (as mentioned)... An IDP may be useful...
not sure what else.

No, you have to write it in. I think it's done that way so that when you move, you can change the address yourself (rather than have to apply for a new passport).Originally posted by jmc

DL, RPAL, SS card, Health Card...what else would a guy likely have. I think I've got my forklift operator's licence from Saskatchewan that's ~8 years old...
I believe you can get a residency card of some sort. Call Service Canada and ask them.

If you are getting turned away from a bar because if "insufficient" ID, then I hate to break it to you, but the ID is not the problem.
it's either:
1) you look dangerous
2) You look ethnic, and the door staff are racist.
