    Anyone have an official list? Planning a road trip down there and I don't really feel like being arrested.

    Actually you can bring guns, there are some restrictions and you need permits though.

    I'm thinking more the little "Oh, I didn't know those weren't allowed" things.

    Lighters, camping fuel (those compressed canisters), Japanese swords... you know, the little stuff.

    I drove in with a couple Samurai Swords. It was quite funny actually.

    Officer: Any Alcohol, Tobacco or Weapons?
    Me: A bottle of Tequila and a couple swords
    O: EXCUSE ME? Where did you get swords from?
    M: Some oriental lady...in an alley...in Downtown LA
    O: Sir, pull over to the side and bring the weapons inside!

    We brought them in. He just glanced at them and said Samurai Swords are ok.
