    Default WTB: Fencing material

I am going to rebuild the fence at my house. It is about 100 feet of fenceline. I am thinking of going either spruce, cedar, or pressure treated.

Has anyone price compared the different building supply stores for this kind of thing.

There are quite a few choices, RONA, Homedepot, Totem, and various lumber yards. I'm not sure if they are all comparable, or if one is noticably cheaper/better than the rest.

Anyone got a deal on lumber?

I just discovered this stuff. I am eager to try it out next year to rebuild my fence.

    Papercrete

You Tube has some interesting videos and if you search it, there are some great documents to d/l. Find "green Acres" in Texas. They have the idea of papercrete slabs used as fencing.

A 4" thick, 6' high concretelike wall is just what I want for a fence!
