Default New Bottle Depot in Calgary

Just caught the end of it on Channel 4 today. Didn't get a name but a really nice 5000 sq.ft bottle depot somewhere in the City. Equipped with all stainless steel counters and LCD screens so customers can keep track of their tally. I'm sure we have all been ripped off once or twice at the depot hahahaha

    Anyway, anyone know?

I had a friend who always brought one of those pens that has 5 different colors in it. And when he got the paper by the time he would walk over to the till he wrote down a few more numbers! haha

Ive never tried it nor do i think i ever will but it always worked for him. I guess thats payback for rippin everyone else off including myself at the bottle depots!

the one near to Douglasglen Sobeys (off of 114th) usually isn't busy and they have the tally on screens...but keep your own count...

Any Bottle depot is never busy during the week days. I never go on weekends and the last time I went to the one by the harvest hills T&T, I'm pretty sure I got ripped off as I had 5 XL garbage bags and the total came to $38

we've been ripped off so many times. We used to go to Trail Bottle Depot by Heritage LRT Station, but they always rip you off. Now we go to some local place, but we put the stuff in garbage bags and count it out like: 100 pop cans in this garbage bag, 100 beer cans in this bag, etc. Then we just hand them the bags and say "100 beer cans in this bag, 100 pop in this bag" it seems to work. Will have to check this new bottle depot out. We used to go to this one bottle depot that was in the Atco Industrial park and then the Curry Baracks where you dump your cans and bottles into these troughs and then they count them out and your amounts showed up on a LCD screen right there. Then you go over to the office to get your cash. But they could never keep their lease. I wonder if this is them..maybe they found a new place.

I have been in to the place down southeast twice, prety clean, fairly quick, and yeah they keep count and enter it on the screen for you, and then it prints you a receipt to cash at the cashier, not too bad. Sorta tough to understand the punjabi guys, but oh well.
