    Is this the part?

I've used hondapartscheap.com and there's others, if you know the OE part number that helps, not sure if you need the full assembly or what part exactly.

Figured I should introduce myself here. I'm a reformed muscle car owner who happened to end up in an 09 Si due to a random test drive @ T&T. Loving this little car. Vtec is addictive haha..and 10.5 L/100 kms 100% rush hour while hitting redline 5-10 times per day on average is really economical!

    ^^ nice ride.

A race header and bolt ons really wake the k20 up.

Otherwise checkout kmod short and long block crate engines. Can have an oem Honda part built 11:1 k24 for 220whp and 180wtq (give or take some) In a 2800lb car and 4.785 gearing stock it flys.

Thanks Darkane. I really don't want to do a cat delete though. Getting too old for that stench everyday. I'll checkout kmod. This is probably one of the slowest cars I've owned numbers wise, but it doesn't feel that slow if that makes sense. It's very lively and eager to rev which is totally different than what I'm used to. I just can't get over how efficient it is...driving my stang like this leads to 300 km tanks of gas!!

Anyone here own a Skunk2 composite CAI for an 06-11 Si? Or any Civic I guess. It seems to be a really nice unit. You also don't need a battery relocate due to the design. $400 is pretty spendy for an air intake but I don't want any cheap ebay stuff on this car.

Nice ride!!! I had a FA5 before it was written off due to hail. I just picked up a 05 DC5.

I recall a while back someone posted some information regarding it is more fuel economical for K20 to cruise at ~3000 rpm than the traditional <3000 rpm. What was the reason behind that?

I love how Hallowed_point introduces his car, talks about efficiency, and Darkane goes and suggests a crate motor.

I love how you never have anything positive to say on this forum. It's awesome. Go bust a nut or something jesus..

I can't afford to maintain a 20 year old Domestic especially in our harsh climate. That doesn't mean I don't miss having a torque monster..anyways more of the same from you

I know for a fact that I can get 34.5 mpg highway with this car. Logged my mileage from Calgary to Kelowna. Even with quite a few low gear pulls. It's unbelievable really. It does seem to do better at 3000 rpm. Below that, and it almost feels as though it's "lugging" wheres da torque

Anyways, not sure if I'll do a crate motor swap. Although, I could probably get a good price for my low km K20Z3
