Default Serious Question regarding air conditioning

I picked up a showroom condition '96 pontiac sunfire from british columbia with 60,000km. the car is like brand new in and out.

The car DOES NOT have air conditioning - however I have a nearly identical '96 pontiac sunfire with air conditioning and was wondering if it would be possible to transfer the parts (rad, whatever else is needed) to the b.c. pontiac and give it air conditioning.

I'm not all that mechanically inclined. The B.C. '96 is a 2.2L 3 speed and the air Pontiac is a 2.2 4 speed.

Advice and thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Possible? Probably, worth it? Heck no.

You'll have the entire dash out of the car, change the wiring harness, possibly even remove the engine (or at least parts of it) to route the A/C lines, since they are mostly hard metal lines you can't just feed them through the spaces. Plus you need all the hardware from the other one. Count on anywhere between 25 and 100 hours to swap them depending on what you run into.

Trying to post a pic of this damn thing

Thanks for the response. Used all the key words I need in researching. Shame the bitch' don't have A.C. I've never seen a 13 year old pontiac in this sort of condition.
