out of province inspection questions
So i just took my pathfinder to get an oopi and they are saying i need a bunch of shit to pass and one of the things they said i need to pass is running boards. I'm thinking thats ridiculous,but am i wrong? Are the running boards / step bars that important?
The shop i took it to is called certified brake on 17th and 52nd se . The vehicle is a 01' Pathfinder with no issues that i know of besides the horn not working.

unless it came from the factory with the running boards i see no reason why you should need them.try another shop.

Yeah i know it wont pass anywhere without a horn,gotta get that fixed.
And he said that if i take the running boards off it will be fine. I guess its not too bad,only reason i went to this place is because my dad knows the guy,i was planning on going to rams but i'll probably just go back to this place but out of curiosity,anyone know what rams charges?

I went there because a friend knew the guy. I told him I needed 2 bolts for my exhaust changed, he said the bolts can't be changed and I have to change the whole pipe for $500. Took it to Carline Muffler on 33ST NE and they changed both bolts for me at a really cheap rate compared to this crook
