Default Looking for a good dentist

I was told awhile ago I needed my wisdom teeth taken out. Well I kept putting it off, mainly because I moved to Calgary almost 2 years ago. And I don't have a dentist here. I have had pain in 'wisdom teeth area' awhile back, but it went away. Well now it's back... And I think it's time i have these suckers taken out So i'm looking for a good dentist here to get it done and hopefully do the procedure that will involve the least amount of pain and recovery time.

I really like the guy I visit up in the Brentwood Dental Clinic. Ask to see the big guy with dark hair. He's very, very good and lets you know everything that he's doing. Very comfortable.

On the other hand, the other dentist there sucks badly. He has an issue in one eye where his retina has separated. Not only does this look freaky, but I think it effects his abilities because he's just not very good.

I go up to Beddington (I think thats what the communitys called... On Centre Street Past 64th Ave. Where the Co-op and safeway are across the street)

In the Co-op mall part there is Dr.Todd's office.

    Best dentist ive ever had.
Have had a few fillings done by him, and they are all quick, done great, and pain free haha.

Very Very good dentist, id highly reccomend.

I decided to go to these guys since the have direct billing to Blue Cross, while others dont. Since I live close by, I decided to give them a whirl.
Well I have three root canal's and countless cavities and fillings. Since I was very fucking stupid enough to postpone any dental work for three years. Clever I know
My last clinic quoted me $3900 in total.
This place quoted me $2300 for the same work.
My Dentist was Dr. Chung. Hes a younger asian guy. All in all the work is 5/5. As potentially excrutiating as the work may have been, it wasn't bad in the least... The needles I recieved in the gums weren't at all painfull, and neither was the work.
I was very happy with the service, as its just awesome in comparison to the other three places I've been to in the last 15 years.
    Highly recommended.

Made an appointment at signal hill. can't wait to see these x-rays of these suckers growing in straight 90 degrees sideways. i've been taking ibprofen for the last 2 days. whenever i open my mouth wide, the muscles cramp up near the wisdom teeth in the left side, and it takes me effort to close my mouth.

... On another note. Is there like an emergency dental clinic? Usually the pain only last a day or two. But now it's always there and I cannot open my jaw all the way without it hurting. One tab of Ibprofen a day helps keep the pain at bay. But in case things get worst before my appointment on thursday, it would be nice to know there's a place i can go. other than the hospital of course.
