Default A friend's pet passed away

Like the subject says, my friends' dog passed away and I would like to get them something, but I'm not sure what. I was thinking of a picture frame where they could put a favourite picture of their dog in it. Any other suggestions?

For anyone who has owned a pet, they become apart of your family and for them, it breaks my heart to know that they had lost two dogs in the past six months.

Wow what a coincidence, my friend lost two dogs in about the same amount of time too, one had to be put down today...

Either way, something like a picture frame will work in my opinion...

I'm sorry... that was unnecessary. (I'm still chuckling though)

What about just a card? Or help foot the bill to get cremation and a nice little urn to keep the ashes in?

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

do you have access to pictures?

You can make a photo book or calendar with pics of their animal.

not expensive, but definately something that they will keep.

Take pieces of the dog's toys or collar or something and make up an ornament for him to hang on his Christmas tree every year.

A very nice urn to place the ashes in would be really suiting.

either that or a momento that meant a lot to the dog and its owner.
