What are then chances of passing an OOP without a reverse gear?

Reason I ask is becasue im trying to see if I can get my r1 powered mini road legal. It passes it England and they have stricker rules than we do?
"Restored antique, classic, homebuilt, modified or street rod vehicles that were not previously registered, or those where proof of prior Alberta registration cannot be provided, must also undergo an OOP Vehicle Inspection the first time they are registered."
what are the restrictions for home builds?

Depends on the shop I guess. Most would drive them into the bay and out again themselves. So they would notice no reverse. If you could somehow insist you drive it in and then push it out without them noticing, you may be alright..
i think if you changed the title of your thread to that you may get more posts. check the gov of ab website, i'm not familiar with legal jargon and get a headache after 5 minutes of looking at the information.Originally posted by Vtecmini

how do you drive it out of the shop with no reverse? for a oop the tech has to drive the vehical do the inspection and do a wheel alinment. there are techs that look past things but many dont because if you get caught you loose you licences. to be totaly honist if i was doing the inspection i dont think i would pass it but then again i would have to look it up in my book to see.Originally posted by Supa Dexta

put an electric reverse in, buy some little electric motor to spin the wheels backwards
