^Very interesting, I was like, WGAF? until I read the part about buoyancy. Reminds me of the LA Gear BBall shoes that had actual springs in the heels.

yeah those are cool. i have a friend thats swims at a very high level and he has one of these. the shitty thing is they only last for a few swims and then they're useless. they also cost on the upside of a couple grand lol
So everyone should swim naked to level the playing field?
That's how they did it back in the day!

And yes, the women should swim naked. I will then start watching swimming.... in the name of fair competition.
Sort of sucks now that the records are set... If they helped that much its going to be that much harder to beat them without the added help.
I don't know, most eastern block women swimmers are mannier than most men.Originally posted by Toma

Women, yes...
floppy cocks and saggy balls can be hidden in a good old fashioned speedo.
Yeah these suits are ballin, NASA helped engineer them. Good for an extra 1.9-2.2 seconds. And in the swim world that is the difference between gold and a pat on the back. AKA getting some pussy or whackin off that night.
Almost everyone uses them, I don't see what the big deal is?
Technology has always been a factor in every Olympic event. Are they going to stop using carbon fiber bikes for cycling or suits for speed skating or super aerodynamic helmets for skiing?
