530i is finally gone!!!

So i finally sold the 530i over the weekend, what a hassle. Literally all i got was people low balling me, then when i dropped the price all i got was people calling me asking whats wrong with the car. Finally sold it to a older couple over the weekend, the night before they took possession, i did some maintenance for them. I replaced the sparks, topped off all the fluids and did once again scan around the car and even did a quick peake scan to make sure there was no issues. Sad to see it go, but all was worth it for my next car. I bought benyl's 2003.5 m3 cab on monday. This car is just i think i drove almost a tank in 2 days just cruising around.. i just cant stop driving this thing. Already started the mods, well reverse mod i swapped out all the cf roundels back to stock, got drl disabled yesterday at sheni's, getting tint removed today at tinting illusions. Also got appointment to get an alignment done, and also replace the Tstat next week. No issues with the Tstat, however looking at the records looks like tstat is the original and if you know bmw you know tstat is the first thing to go. This is my first vert and so far noise is no issue, actually all i hear is the exhaust , haven't had a nice day yet to open the top.. can't wait

now i need to find someone with a set of stock 19" to swap with my m6 wheels.. anyone???

also can't decide if i should pick up a set of coilovers or not...

will take some more tonight after removing tint

Why so many reverse mods.. have your own plans in mind? Or do you want it stock?

Also thinking about swapping out my exhaust back to stock, i love the sound but maybe a little to loud for a vert, how do stock exhaust sound? Anyone got a clip?

i think cars in general look so much cleaner without tint, especially m3's, they look so open and clean with no tint. I love cf, however i prefer to have the original bmw roundels over cf. Lastly i just think the 19" stocks looks so good on the verts. The day i saw the pics of rage2 picking up his vert from US, i said to myself im getting a vert, a vert with 19" stock wheels, heh

And regarding the exhaust, i seriously love the sounds, sounds soooo mean, however i do have to drive my 20month old son once awhile. Took him for a spin last night, he looked so confused and scared, think the muffler was too loud for him.. anyone with stock m3 exhaust wanna let me hear it? or maybe swap?

i'll see how they look without the tint.. also thinking of getting another set of 19" staggered hyperblack csl's.. can't seem to find a single pic of carbon black vert with 19" hyperblacks csl's... argg

Please don't get CSL's, they're boring IMO and played out.

you think? i haven't seen csl's around in calgary that much... tinting illusions gonna do the removal, too scared with the heating elements in the back..

and i still haven't figured out what kind of exhaust i have, theres no branding anywhere on it.. i'll take some pics of it..

Don't switch out the exhaust, aftermarket is wayy better.

Tint is a personal choice, personally i like it.

As for the m6 rims, keep them! I haven't seen a 3 series rolling on m6's in calgary. They look good

just got back from removing the tint.. feels so refreshing now in the car, so bright... i can see out the windows!! heh

jarrid @ tinting illusions did it so fast, i was in and out prob less then a hour i think.. dunno i fell asleep on the couch in the waiting area watchin tv... lol

something about m6 wheels i never liked, however the more i look at it the more im starting to like it... still prefer stock 19's though.. still up for trade!!

just ordered a set of stubby antenna and a new /// emblem for the back, mine currently has the white/grey/dark grey, ordered the original colors, matches the original emblems.. still haven't decided if i should paint the front/side grill matte black or not...

i put in the 6000k hid bulb's last night, and put in a set of led license plate light. gonna be switching out the cf cluster trim with my friends stock trim tonight.

hopefully i can finally wash my car tonight, stupid weather...

As you have a dark car, I really think the dark emblems and M look best IMO.

I agree, I do not like the look of m6 wheels, beside the fact they look HUGE. (due to the spoke going to the outer edge, no lip)

I agreed with getting rid of the M6 rims. I have never liked them either.
