California Fires

Fawk man the air here is soooo bad, my car is covered in huge pieces of ash. I'm like 40-50 miles away from the biggest one, we have like 4 total 3 in my area and 1 in san diego. man on friday morning the sun was blood red, and now its just orange and the sky is brown. so horrible here... lucky canadian people!

does it burn down 300+ houses? (in one fire) threaten a few casinos and burn a section of a California State University?

and like 70 something houses burned down in another fire, and two people died in a san diego fire

oh yea most of these were arson too

Nope, our forest fires only burn down 400 square kilometers of land, engulf the small towns and business, and cover the skies with ash that can be seen for hundreds of kilometers away. Our forest fires are not nearly as selective or interesting as yours...

The BC forest fire in August burned over 2500 square kilometers of land. The cost to the BC government was at one point $545M not sure what the final cost figures were. 334 homes were lost. Sorry, but the imaginary line you see on your atlas does not surpress forest fires

I agree, nothing compared to Candian forest fires. But this is pretty bad for a huge ass fire in or covering a city! Check it out.
